The PricedUp Derby Plate has Lennies Desire as clear favourite after his track record breaking run in the heats and rightly so, writes Peter Walker.

He’s drawn in trap six again and that seems to be the secret to his success.

My selection Romeo Tomcat should qualify from the first semi-final with three still to advance to the final.

If looking for a bit of value, Deliveroo each-way at 40/1 in the second is much better than his odds indicate.

The first semi-final of the greyhoundtrader.com Stakes is blessed with early-paced qualifiers with Zenith Quincy top-rated overall with a sub 29 second time under his belt.

Racenight Mikey is well-drawn as the sole wide seed with five railers on his inside and may take advantage if scrimmaging on his inside.

The next has Radical Scoby picked out as an each-way option and nearly reeled in the long-time leader Flashing Fender.

If he can build on that promising run, he could spring a surprise.

The BGBF Truframe Champion Stakes event has three of the top four in the outright market in the first semifinal, including three heat winners.

Romeo Steel is ahead in both ratings and a worthy favourite.

He will need to be on his toes if the ‘Goose gets loose’ out of trap one!

The final could be contested by all railers and the draw will be crucial in that case scenario.

The Betgoodwin Derby Challenge Trophy pits established six-bend greyhounds with some younger pretenders.

Bombay Nutty tops the ratings as the form against Mongys Wild sets the very best standard and the one to beat.

Throw in the current track record holder Savana Jackpot and as the market indicates we have a very competitive event.

The Time Nutrition Sprint Trophy has Not So Slow (appropriately named) put in as a very short-priced favourite at around 7/4.

Preference is given to Shadow Storm who although inexperienced has been well supported in the outright market.

Rocking Taylor is also in with a shout as the form at Sheffield with the favourite suggests little between them.
