Gone to the Dogs to host more live shows in March and April

Gone to the Dogs – Live! will be hosting more shows over the coming weeks, including the final of Coral Golden Sprint at Romford, Trainers’ Judgement Night at Perry Barr, and the final of the Arc Laurels back at the Birmingham venue.

The news follows the Ladbrokes Winter Derby Final broadcast from Monmore and shows last year at Yarmouth, Romford, Nottingham and Towcester.

Gone to The Dogs – Live! will be at Romford for the final of the Coral Golden Sprint on Friday, March 21, as well as at Perry Barr for Trainers’ Judgement Night on Saturday March 29 and Perry Barr once again for the Arc Laurels Final on Saturday, April 19.

Dani Jackson to host shows

Regular Gone To The Dogs podcast presenter Dani Jackson will host the shows along with a team of experts including Jonathan Hobbs, who is delighted to see such major greyhound racing fixtures covered, and promises a busy year ahead.

He said: “Our thanks must go to Mark Kingston at Arc and Garry Nash at Premier Greyhound Racing for their support in terms of these latest round of fixtures and we look forward to covering some of the biggest nights in greyhound racing.

“I think we are all especially looking forward to returning to Romford, one of the most atmospheric and go-ahead tracks in the UK. We were there for the Premier Greyhound Racing Champion Stakes last year and had a great time.

Extra special

“Having the opportunity to show Trainers’ Judgement Night at Perry Barr is also extra special. 

“In many ways it can be second only to English Greyhound Derby Final night in terms of overall quality. 

“It’s so different, of course, because it’s a night when points mean prizes with last year’s top six trainers doing battle with one runner apiece in six races.”
