Droopys Eunice has been named the Greyhound Racing UK Greyhound of the Month for January.

The Maxine Locke-trained and JR Racing Syndicate-owned July 2022 daughter of Dorotas Wildcat and Droopys Charm landed the £10,000 Coral Essex Vase Final at home track in her seventh Category One final.

In taking the Greyhound Racing UK Greyhound of the Month for January, Droopys Eunice edged out other nominees Bacon Roll (Paul Burr), Ballinabola Bill (Kevin Hutton), Garfiney Blaze (Mark Wallis), Queen Sinead (Liz McNair), Slipalong Move (Paul Young) and Table Toppers (Mark Wallis).

Nominations for February’s Greyhound Racing UK Greyhound of the Month will be announced next week.
