The PricedUp Derby Plate and greyhoundtrader.com Stakes both start on Saturday so I have summarised the top three in each of the heats, writes Peter Walker.
The Plate is always very competitive but the greyhound with all-round pace is Romeo Tomcat and worth a bet at around 6/1 in the outright win market.
The greyhoundtrader.com event looks a very open affair but a chance is taken with Radical Scoby.
He’s been competing in top class company over six bends and the drop back in distance should not be an inconvenience.
The talented front-runner could pay dividends at an each-way price in the region of 12/1.
His sectional rating is based only on his sales trial in March but has shown enough early pace in subsequent category one races to suggest he can break well over the four-bend trip.
